Upcoming Events and Programs

Keep posted for future Shots Up Basketball Camps.

Training

Our training sessions provide a wide variety of techniques and drills to improve performance and conditioning. Our focus is upon improving technical skills and basketball IQ for players to set goals and targets to reach their benchmarks. Our sessions include demonstrations, drills, and competitive play that emphasizes explosiveness, power, strength, reaction time, agility, endurance, quickness, and speed.

We specifically address shooting progression, offensive moves, lay-ups/finishes, rebounding, defense, passing/ball movement, dribbling/ball handling, and footwork/agility.

Camps and Clinics

Our camps provide a fun and safe place to learn and enjoy basketball while participating with training activities and games. They are open to boys and girls grades 4 through 12 who are placed with players at similar age and skill levels. All participants must wear athletic shorts and basketball shoes. Campers must currently provide their own beverages, snacks and lunches. Our camps are popular during school holidays and seasonal breaks.

Tournament

Shots up basketball hosts one and two-day tournaments and events for boys and girls grades 4 through 12. Our tournament venues are primarily located in the Washington DC, and surrounding Maryland and Virginia areas. We provide scorekeepers, staff, and certified referees to ensure a safe and clean environment. Participating teams can take advantage of discounted multiple team registration fees.

“Basketball is my daughter’s passion. She loves the game and has been trying to improve her shooting. Then, we reach out to Shots Up Basketball. After Coach Chris and Marcus did an assessment, my daughter’s shooting percentage went up. I highly recommend Shots Up Basketball for the reason that they specialize in shooting.”
